5 Reasons to Get a Divorce | William Orth Attorney

This is a great article to read on the overall picture of things that a couple deals with even before each hires a Family Law lawyer. Although I do not like the title, the point of the article is a good one – it should be titled “Five Things to Communicate Better About” as the article suggests. Every one that is in a relationship should be required to read this article before they talk about the “D” word or a separation. Remember that it takes two to make it work. Both individuals in the relationship need to be willing to work on the problems in the relationship. If not then divorce or separation really is inevitable.

  1. Making the decision to divorce can be a complicated matter. Most divorces take place due to marital problems that have solutions but the parties to the marriage lack the skills to solve those problems.

No one should take the decision to divorce lightly, but there are cases where divorce is the only solution. Some of the reasons can be-
    1. Physical or Emotional Abuse
    2. Economic Tensions
    3. Alcohol or Drug Addiction

  2. Great Share!!

I completely agree with Chris Juaen. I think divorce is the most painful and difficult task to consider. But sometimes, it can be the best option for a bad marriage. However, getting a divorce is not an easy task. The procedure usually involves a lot of legal complexities relating to the custody of children, property, alimony, child support, and other such issues. So, letting a divorce lawyer deal with all of the messy issues is often the best choice for either party.
